About Munich

Whether you are interested in arts, history, architecture or entertainment, Munich has it all. Capital and largest city of the German state of Bavaria, on the banks of River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps, it is home to 1.5 Million people.

The city is a major center of art, advanced technologies, finance, publishing, culture, innovation, education, business, and tourism in Germany and Europe and enjoys a very high standard and quality of living. Munich has something to offer for everyone: The first thing that comes to mind is probably the “Hofbräuhaus”, which is well worth a visit. Lovers of architecture will delight in the sight of the “Frauenkirche” and the “Marienplatz” with its new town hall.

Choose from an array of museums such as the “Deutsche Museum” or the Maximilianeum or sample some local delicatessen on the “Viktualienmarkt” – Munich will fulfil your every wish.
